CURRENT Software Engineer (Specialist Programmer) Infosys Ltd., Bengaluru · Dec 2024 – Present
- Fine-tuned small language models (Phi-4-mini 3.8B, Qwen3) with LoRA/QLoRA via Unsloth on ~1,500 curated Q&A pairs across ~20 business domains, specialising responses for support-automation workflows.
- Paired the SLMs with RAG over vector DBs (ChromaDB, Pinecone) to keep knowledge fresh without retraining, and deployed 4-bit quantised (~4 GB) models locally with Ollama for private, low-cost inference and no cloud dependency.
- Built multi-database API integrations and backend services with FastAPI and WebSockets across 3+ heterogeneous databases (document, graph, relational).
- Built an end-to-end ML pipeline in Python and MongoDB: ingestion, preprocessing, training and serialisation.
- Developed a human-in-the-loop validation UI in Gradio with automated retraining and champion model selection, cutting manual review effort by ~30%.
- Integrated AI agent workflows using MAF for intelligent automation across backend modules.

- Owned the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) module for manufacturing-plant asset-malfunction analysis, modelling and storing graph data in Neo4j and JanusGraph.
- Built V1 of the company's internal backend SDK so engineers can visualise multiple graph layouts with one function call, cutting visualisation boilerplate by ~50%.

- Handled the WebSocket API for the FTDM chatbot feature; optimised Cypher and Gremlin queries in Neo4j and JanusGraph for 40% faster queries and 25% less data-retrieval time.
- Built a Gremlin graph visualiser with vis.js and Python; led the Kafka version upgrade for Jublient's client module.
